REQUIREMENTS

NEW MEMBERS/CANDIDATES

  • Pay $100 one time application fee

    • (For New Members Only)

  • Intend on declaring a major in Accounting, BAIT, or Finance

  • Minimum cumulative GPA 3.0 every semester 

  • Average 3.0 in all 300 or 400 level major classes every semester

  • 12 hours of community service

    • (Including 4 VITA Sessions)

  • 75% Attendance at ALL Meetings

  • Apply by September 20, 2021, for new members

  • For eligible candidates to be inducted on April 2022:

    • Have taken at least one 300/400 level major class in Fall 2021

    • Attend Induction Banquet at the Pines Manor

INDUCTED MEMBERS

  • Declared a major in Accounting, BAIT, or Finance

  • 9 hours of community service

    • (Including 3 VITA Sessions)

  • Minimum cumulative GPA 3.0 every semester

  • Average 3.0 in all 300 or 400 level major classes as of Fall 2021

  • 50% Attendance at ALL Meetings

***Calculating Major GPA:

  • Only count 300/400 level classes in your major

    • Ex: Business Forum, Financial Management for Non-Majors, Intro to Management, Management Skills, Intro to Marketing, Intro to SCM, Business Law, & Managerial Accounting do not count

    • Other RBS Business Core depends on your major

  • Accounting (Dept 010)

    • Calculate starting from Intermediate 1 (010:325) & above

  • Finance (Dept 390)

    • Calculate starting from Financial Management for Finance Major (390:310) & above

  • BAIT (Dept 136)

    • Calculate starting from MIS (136:370), Stat Methods (136:385), Operations Management (136:386), Foundations of Business Programming (136:388) & above

  • If you are a double major: calculate the average of all 300/400 has to be above 3.0
